With a career spanning almost a decade, Fernando Barraza is one of Australia’s most celebrated and in demand stylists.
Regularly working with the country’s best known faces, brands and publications, Fernando has earned a reputation for his diversity, experience, and innate sense of style. What sets him apart from other stylists, however, is his uncanny ability to execute each and every client brief with a careful blend of creativity and restraint, ensuring that good taste and great communication always reign supreme.
Fernando’s unique talent can be seen in the advertising campaigns of household names such as OPSM, Lonsdale, Colorado, LG Laptop, Telstra Bigpond, Fuji Film, Strandbags and the Sydney Opera House.
He is also in demand as a celebrity stylist, and has worked with luminaries such as Megan Gale, Dannii Minogue, tammin sursok, Anthony Callea, The Dandy Warhols and Ian Thorpe.
His work has appeared in a huge range of local and international titles, including Black + White, Cream, Culture, Frankie, Who and FHM, and Fernando’s strong communication skills and vibrant personality have seen him appear as a guest stylist on television shows such as Arena Style (Foxtel), TVSN (Foxtel) and Australian Idol (Network Ten).
Fernando has also styled the catwalks at Australian Fashion Week, Melbourne Fashion Week and the Melbourne Fashion Festival, as well as covering the Fashion Weeks of London, New York and Los Angeles for his self-published magazine, Fashion Magazine Australia.
Most recently returning from the US where we was shooting in l.a, new york and Montreal for his own project called casting dna and now soon to finish styling the latest gods of football calendar, book and dvd as well shooting the australian cricketers for another calendar.
